Your choice of cleaner is very important – use either warm soapy water or a special acrylic cleaner. Avoid ammonia based products, like Windex or other home glass cleaners. They contain harmful chemicals that will actually damage the surface leaving it cloudy looking. Soapy water is the safest and most effective cleaning solution.
Microfiber cloths clean 50% better than comparable cotton towels and reduces the risk of scratching the protective screens. Do not rub dry or use paper towels because they may cause scratches. Stick with micro-fiber type of cloth.
Isopropyl Alcohol
Use at least 70 percent alcohol solution. This is the most effective for sanitization of most hard surfaces. Clean the surface with soapy water then apply the alcohol solution and let it sit on the surface for at least 30 seconds to disinfect. Wipe dry with a clean microfiber cloth.
First remove the protective film from both sides, clean the holes where the cover connects to the stands.
Rotate the cover 180 degrees and slowly slide in the stands. You can use a rubber mallet if needed.
